Terms and Conditions

For the purposes of the following Terms and Conditions, the term “Website” will refer to “karaglensuperspar.co.za”; including any URLs that redirect to said domain.

General Terms

If any provision of these terms and conditions is unlawful, void or for any reason unenforceable, then that provision shall be deemed to be severable and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of any remaining terms and conditions.

These terms and conditions constitute the whole agreement between the user and SPAR relating to the use of this website.

Any indulgence of extension of time granted by SPAR to you shall not be construed as a waiver or variation of any of its rights or remedies.

At the option of SPAR, any dispute arising out of these terms and conditions may be brought in any Magistrate’s Court of competent jurisdiction notwithstanding that the amount in issue may exceed the jurisdiction of such court.

These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.

Exclusion of Liability and Indemnity

Use of this website is done entirely at your own risk. The site and its contents are provided on an ‘as is’ and ‘as available’ basis and Karaglen SuperSpar makes no representations or warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including without limitation with respect to the mobile application, its contents and the completeness and accuracy thereof. KaraglenSuperSpar does not warrant that the functions provided by the website will be uninterrupted or error free, or that the website or the server that makes it available are free from viruses or other harmful elements.

Neither Karaglen Superspar, nor its directors, employees, officers, designees, agents, representatives, affiliates and suppliers shall be liable for any loss, damage (whether direct, indirect or consequential) or expense of any nature whatsoever which may be suffered as a result of, or which may be attributable, directly or indirectly, to the use of or reliance upon the mobile application(including any information contained thereon).

You hereby indemnify Karaglen SuperSpar and keep it indemnified against any loss or damage suffered or liability incurred, including without limitation in respect of any claim or demand by any third party by reason of any act or omission on your part or that of any family member, agent or representative acting on your behalf in connection with the mobile application.

Refunds Policy

Goods will be refunded or exchanged, in accordance with the applicable provisions of the Consumer Protection Act. All returns must be done within seven (7) days from date of purchase and the original till slip must be presented. Returned goods must be in the original packaging and in its original condition. No returns will be accepted if there’s any tampering suspected, or if there’s any health risk or contravention of health and food safety. Final decision on returns rests with management.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Operating Hours

This service is available Monday to Sunday.

Orders will be processed from 8am until 3pm daily. Orders may be collected up until 7pm. Any orders that are not collected by 7pm on the day of order will be cancelled. Any orders placed after 3pm will only be available for collection on the following day.

Minimum Order Value

Due to the demand for this service, we require your order to be a minimum of R250 and if it is not, it will be cancelled.

Order Collections

Once you are notified that your order is ready to be collected, please ensure that you collect within 30min thereafter.

Perishables

If you have ordered any perishable items, when you receive your notification that your order is ready for collection, please collect as soon as possible.

Banned Products

Alcohol will be available for sale for off-site consumption from Monday to Thursday during the hours of 9am to 5pm only.

Product Availability

We endeavor to supply as much as we can from your order. Pricing and stock is subject to what is available in store. Items that are out of stock are not charged for. The store has the right to substitute the items that are out of stock. 

Refunds Policy

Payment

Payment for your order will be required in full when you collect. Debit and credit card payments only, no cash.

Add Ons

We currently cannot process ‘add on’ orders. All additional orders will be processed as a new order and minimum spend will apply.

Pre Paid Items

Pre-paid electricity and pre-paid airtime is not available for purchase on this service.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Collections

Recipient needs to collect food hamper within 48 hours of being notified that it is ready. Recipient I.D document and proof of residence that matches nomination form information needs to be provided for collection.

The organisation that nominated the recipient is able to collect on their behalf but must have a letter to validate this. They must also provide ID Document when collecting.

Household Limit

One food hamper per household will be allowed.

Food Hamper Contents

Food items supplied may vary per box and is dependent on what is readily available in store.
